o You have carefully drawn 5+ handle examples in your sketchbook, as well as your finished mug and notes on glazes used.
o The bottom of the mug has been carefully and neatly signed.

o Craftsmanship of your mug, as a whole, is good quality (handle is securely attached, mug rim is smooth and rounded).
o Forming and glazing techniques are consistent and good quality.
o Some crumbs and/or rough spots may be present, but do not interfere with the overall impact.
o You have drawn 5+ handle examples in your sketchbook, as well as your finished mug and notes on glazes used.
o The bottom of the mug has been signed.

o Not all required information is present (mug, this assessment, sketchbook).
o There are inconsistencies in the craftsmanship of your mug.
o Forming and glazing techniques are inconsistent quality.
o Crumbs, cracks and/or rough spots take away from the visual impact of your mug.
o You have not drawn 5+ handle examples in your sketchbook, your notes on glazes used are complete.
o The bottom of the mug has not been signed.

o This project is incomplete and/or does not meet the criteria of the project.

o This work lacks originality/creativity with regards to the handle and glazing.
o Your mug planning is not completely sketched out in your sketchbook.
o Your glaze choices are inconsistently noted in your sketchbook.
o Some mug criteria is missing.

o The mug is not complete and/or does not meet the criteria of the project.
